Hospitality & Retail

For the past 12 years, Environmental Graphics has placed a strong emphasis on hospitality signage, working on some of the largest hotel projects in the US. By creating beautifully integrated, functional, and valuable sign systems, we have earned and maintained Preferred Vendor status with the most recognizable brands in the hospitality industry.

We love the challenge of a custom-designed signage project, and we know that a successful project is the culmination of extraordinary talents, skills, and teamwork. From taking your design and vision, to making it a reality, Environmental Graphics can assist you in achieving your goals.
Healthcare & Institutional

Implementing a wayfinding/signage program is often a challenge. However, our experience with large-scale, healthcare signage projects will give your team the expertise and confidence necessary for the long-term commitment these projects require.

Working alongside numerous, prominent designers and architects, we have produced signage for over 60 hospitals in the United States. Whether it is utilizing a "standard" sign system that can be incorporated into a program or producing the custom look required by the client, Environmental Graphics has the knowledge, expertise, and experience to collaborate and produce a successful signage program.
Corporate

Environmental Graphics recognizes that interior signs and graphics are not only an extension of the architecture and interior design, but they also help to convey the overall brand image of a company. We are involved in a wide variety of projects, from Fortune 50 companies to the latest startup, as well as colleges and universities. They all have been carefully designed, crafted, and implemented to reflect the values of those organizations.

Through collaboration with designers, owners and facility managers, Environmental Graphics strives to create, install, and maintain corporate signage programs, including logos, directional signs, and personnel signage. We also have "standard" sign systems that can be implemented into any corporate sign program.

The Justice A. A. Birch Building is a 235,000-square-foot state-of-the-art courthouse facility with more than a dozen courtrooms for Criminal Court and General Sessions Court. The extensive wayfinding package included interior and exterior signage, manufactured with various metal finishes to relate to the renovated courthouse architecture. Also included in the graphics package was a three story graphic of "lady justice" created in 3form cast acrylic and stainless steeel.
Ross, Dixon & Bell, LLP | Chicago, Illinois

The interior architecture space for a national law firm located in Chicage was designed in the craftsmen style, and the signage package reflects that design. Fabricated from acrylic, the signage is understated and elegant. The firm name was produced in oiled bronze dimensional lettering.
BellSouth & Turner Entertainment | Atlanta, Georgia

BellSouth engaged Jones Worley Design to develop sign standards for a cohesive look throughout their facilities. These signage programs included campus-wide exterior, interior, and parking sign standards and utilized a variety of materials and fabrication techniques. Environmental Graphics worked with BellSouth, Jones Worley, and its contractor, Holder Construction, to manufacture and install the signage on several campuses.

Environmental Graphics implemented the campus-wide sign program for Turner Broadcasting. The program was designed by Jones Worley Design and consisted of exterior signage including the campus' main ID, rooftop/penthouse logos, building identification, and interior signage.
Holland & Knight | Chicago, Illinois

In Chicago, Environmental Graphics created a signage system from exotic woods, polished acrylic, and stainless steel hardware. The graphics for the new office facility, designed by Sky Design, included a comprehensive program of entry graphics, directional signage, conference room signs, and personnel signage.

The program then expanded into maintaining personnel signage for many of their offices nationwide. These offices each had custom signage designed specifically for them. Environmental Graphics developed an online ordering system, which delineates the signs for each of the various offices and sign types.
Scottish Rite Campus & Egleston Campus | Atlanta, Georgia

Environmental Graphics completed the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta signage program, which consisted of over 4,000 interior and exterior signs. The program, installed in 32 phases over an 18 month period, involved two separate campus locations. During that time, we implemented an online ordering system for the complete standards manual to assist in the transition from construction management to facility management. We also worked closely with the CHOA Foundation on their donor recognition signage throughout the facility.

The signage was designed by HKS, Inc. of Dallas and included exterior wayfinding signage, main identification, interior directionals, room numbers, and department identification.
Emory University | Atlanta, Georgia

Environmental Graphics produced exterior signs in wrought iron, cast bronze, carved stone, etched stainless steel and fabricated aluminum. Specialty signage in the student center included glass, wood, and large-scale murals. The graphic standards and wayfinding systems for Agnes Scott College were created by Jon Roll & Associates of Boston, MA.
Chamblee City Hall | Chamblee, Georgia

The sleepy, little suburb of Chamblee, GA hired Sky Design to redesign its citywide image in a fun and contemporary way.

Holiday Inn Kem's Restaurant | Duluth, Georgia

InterContinental Hotel Group, LLC developed a prototype hotel in Duluth, GA and engaged Environmental Graphics to implement the interior signage program. The concept behind the entire signage program was a nostalgic return to the "great sign" of the original Holiday Inn. The program also included graphics for the new full service restaurant, Kem's, named for the founder of Holiday Inn. Environmental Graphics produced digitally printed wall coverings, three-dimensional graphics, and a large, lighted, ornamental soffit over the bar area. The graphics were designed by Sky Design.

The signage developed for this prototype has been used throughout the Holiday Inn network, specifically the Customer Care plaques, which were required at all Holiday Inns in North America.
Grande Lakes | Orlando, Florida

Grande Lakes was the largest development ever embarked upon by the Marriott Corporation. Environmental Graphics produced and installed over 5,500 interior signs for this sprawling resort, which consisted of a JW Marriott, Ritz Carlton, Spa, and Signature Golf Club.

The signage package included overhead directional signage and color-coding various areas of the property. Signs included a custom egg and dart oval frame using 3D modeling programs.
